June 2009 - Marlee Kivens was elected President Elect of the Ostomy Association of the Minneapolis Area

February 28, 2009 - Marlee Kivens took part in Jewish Disability Awareness Month by leading a D'var Torah with Paula Fox at Adath Jeshurun Congregation.

Fall 2008 - Marlee Kivens was featured in an article by the Sabes JCC newsletter.

October 2008 - Marlee Kivens elected to the Board of Directors to the Minnesota Chapter of the Spina Bifida Association. 2 year term.

September 2007 - Empowering Jews with Disabilities web site created New web site created for Jews with disabilities, founded by Marlee B. Kivens.

July 2007 - Marlee Kivens named chair of Inclusion Committee at Adath Jeshurun Congregation.
